Our Story

Once upon a time…

Jesse first noticed Jackie from a distance at a roofing project in Mission, Texas, and what immediately caught his attention was how hardworking she was. Around the same time, Jackie first noticed Jesse at the Assembly Hall, and what she never forgot was his warm smile and the way he laughed. Not long afterward, we officially met at another roofing project in Edinburg, Texas, where we happened to be working together on the roof in the same group. From there, we began seeing each other more often during maintenance days at the Assembly Hall and through gatherings with mutual friends. As our friendship grew, we were both busy serving Jehovah in different ways. At the time, we had no idea what Jehovah had in store for us. Looking back now, we can see how He was patiently guiding our paths while allowing our friendship to grow at just the right time. As the months went by, we continued getting to know each other better. Eventually, Jesse shared with Jackie that he wanted to get to know her on a deeper level and as more than friends. We officially began dating on December 28, 2024, and since then we have made countless memories, strengthen our friendship, and we have seen Jehovahs hand in every decision we’ve made together. With Jehovah’s loving guidance and blessing, our relationship has continued to flourish. And we are excited to begin the greatest adventure of our lives together!!!
